“After ROOTS SUMMIT is before ROOTS SUMMIT” was one of the main phrases heard at this year’s event. Its origin can be traced to the previous event when, even before its completion, the organisers Stephen Jones, Dr Freddy Belliard and Dr David Jaramillo already started planning the next ROOTS SUMMIT. With ROOTS SUMMIT 2020 taking place in Prague in the Czech Republic from 21 to 24 May, Dental Tribune Online spoke with lecturer Dr Daniel Černý about a potential upcoming home-turf advantage and the highlights of the 2018 ROOTS SUMMIT.

BERLIN, Germany: Over 450 people from 50 countries gathered at the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in the German capital to attend the 2018 ROOTS SUMMIT, held from 28 June until 1 July. At this year’s event, attendees benefitted from the expertise of ten international speakers, could practise their skills in 17 hands-on courses, and had the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with like-minded people. For over 20 years now, ROOTS has been the premier global discussion forum for the dental specialty of endodontics.
BERLIN, Germany: In the run-up to the ROOTS SUMMIT, attendees were invited to submit their own work in the form of posters or oral presentations. This gave dental professionals the opportunity to actively participate in the scientific programme, in addition to attending the lectures and hands-on courses of the main offering. Yesterday, nine endodontists either presented their posters or gave an oral presentation under the moderation of Dr David Jaramillo, ROOTS SUMMIT 2018 Scientific Chairman.
BERLIN, Germany: The ROOTS SUMMIT is known for its excellent scientific programme, and again, in 2018, the much-anticipated event has fulfilled the highest expectations. The extensive lecture offering is being presented by some of the most prominent key opinion leaders in the field of endodontics.
